Babouska is the latest Chunky yarn from Sirdar, a gorgeous brushed yarn that is extra-light for winter knits. A wool-rich blend of 52% wool, 39% acrylic and 9% nylon, it is machine washable at 40 on the wool cycle and knits to a standard Chunky: 12sts x 19 rows on 5.5mm needles. Knit waistcoats, cardigans and jumpers. There is a pattern featuring wrist warmers (1 ball), scarves (1 or 2 balls) and a beret (1 ball). Each 50g ball costs £3.50.
